Dancing for Birth™ is a prenatal and postpartum fitness program that is designed to help you to feel more comfortable and confident in your pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum period. All classes include time to connect with other participants, relaxation, dancing, affirmations, and education for childbirth as well as postpartum.
The dance moves are designed to support you in this time in your life. Dancing is a safe and wonderful way to move your body during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and we always encourage you to listen to your body throughout the class, just as you will do during your labor, birth, and postpartum time. It is also a wonderful way to bond with your baby during pregnancy and after your birth. These classes will help you learn to trust yourself, your body, and your baby as you navigate this wonderful time in your life. For more information you can view the website www.dancingforbirth.com.
Classes will be held weekly on Fridays from 10:00-11:30 at Gleason Park to allow for social distancing. We will plan to meet on the right side of the pond near the pavilion, and will relocate together if that spot is taken during our class time. Please bring water so that you can stay well hydrated. Preregistration is required to ensure that we have supplies for everyone.
Classes are being offered at an introductory rate of $10 and you can pay in person, or you can pay here via PayPal (please select that you are paying friends or family to avoid fees) or Venmo . Please email Julie at email@example.com with any questions you may have. I look forward to seeing you soon!
