Ashton has been involved in the local birth community since 2012. She fell in love with all things birth while pregnant with her first child, Jude. After taking childbirth classes and having a beautiful birth, she realized that she was meant to be involved in birth, somehow. She became a certified childbirth instructor and continued to soak in as much education about birth as she could. She is always learning and expanding her knowledge.
She is an active natural childbirth instructor and doula and loves to support families throughout their pregnancies and births. She is a retired leader with Space Coast La Leche League and still loves supporting mothers in the community in their breastfeeding journeys. Ashton is passionate about helping families in this incredibly important time in their lives.
She has helped many couples prepare for their births and loves watching them grow into parents. Ashton is a strong supporter of the partners’ involvement in the pregnancy and birth. She is passionate about encouraging them to learn comfort measures and work together to support the mother. She strives to provide support for the families and respect the space the couple may need during their birth.
Ashton has been married to her husband, Keith for 6 years and is a mother of 2 boys, Jude and Finnley. Their love and encouragement make it possible for Ashton to pursue her passion and support families in Brevard.

She wanted to learn all that she could about birth and really wanted to cherish the moment of bringing her baby into this world. Birthing her daughter naturally was one of the most beautiful and powerful moments in her life. Bringing a new life into this world is a gift that we as women are so privileged to do. And having our husbands or partners by our side to support us is like no other! I look forward to sharing natural childbirth education with you and your partner as you take this beautiful journey of natural childbirth!
Elizabeth McLean lives in Titusville, Florida with her husband, Devin and two children Magdalene and Kolbe. She was born in Bakersfield, California and moved to Titusville when she was very young. She attended Astronaut High School and went on to pursue her degree in Nursing. Devin and Elizabeth got married in December of 2011. She graduated from UCF with her bachelor’s in Nursing when her daughter Magdalene was 6 months old in 2013. After graduation she decided that she wanted to be home with her daughter, but knew she would use her nursing degree somehow.
After having a heavily medicated and traumatic birth with their daughter Magdalene, Devin and Elizabeth decided there had to be a better way to give birth. When they found out they were expecting their second child they started researching different birth methods. Knowing they wanted a natural unmedicated birth where Devin would be present and in an active role they chose to take a childbirth class together. This class gave them the tools they needed to achieve their dream birth.
Elizabeth realized that she wanted to be a childbirth instructor as they were taking classes to prepare for Kolbe’s birth. Elizabeth is excited to use her nursing background to help couples welcome their precious babies into this world and give them the best start to life. She is also happy to bring Natural childbirth education to North Brevard and surrounding areas!
